Diesel

Diesel is a full-bodied catalog brand blended and rolled by A.J. Fernandez, not one of his house marcas. Cigars International launched it in 2009 as a mail-order exclusive, in the same era as sister catalog brand Man O' War. The first vitola was a thick belicoso called the Unholy Cocktail. Unlimited followed in 2010. Later lines include Whiskey Row, Grind, and Sunday Gravy.

Who makes Diesel? Tabacalera Fernandez at San Lotano in Estelí. A.J. blends it. Cigars International sells it. It is not San Lotano, New World, or Enclave, and it is not an STG brand. The graph point is simple: a high-volume U.S. retailer name on A.J.'s factory floor.
