Man O' War is a full-bodied catalog brand blended by A.J. Fernandez, not one of his house marcas. Cigars International brought it out nationally in 2009, the same year as sister brand Diesel. The original uses an Ecuador Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. Virtue followed in 2010 as the milder Ecuador Connecticut line. Ruination, also 2010, pushes ligero from Nicaragua and Honduras under an Ecuador Habano wrapper. Armada came in 2011 as a limited super-premium.

Who makes Man O' War? Tabacalera Fernandez at San Lotano in Estelí. A.J. blends it. Cigars International sells it, and that retailer sits inside Scandinavian Tobacco Group. It is not San Lotano, New World, or Enclave. Diesel is the sister catalog brand, now sold in the U.S. by Forged. Man O' War stayed on the Cigars International side of the same parent.
