Drew Estate has grown from a small operation in New York’s World Trade Center into one of the largest and most innovative cigar manufacturers in Nicaragua, operating what is widely considered the biggest premium cigar factory in the country (La Gran Fábrica Drew Estate in Estelí). Founded by Jonathan Drew (Sann), the company is famous for its boundary-pushing approach—most notably the ACID line of infused cigars that helped popularize flavored and aromatic options in the premium segment.
Beyond infusions, Drew Estate produces powerhouse traditional lines such as Liga Privada, Undercrown, Herrera Estelí, and MUWAT. The Estelí factory is a massive, modern facility employing hundreds of rollers and representing a significant investment in Nicaraguan production. In 2014 Swisher International acquired Drew Estate, giving the brand greater resources while allowing the original team to continue driving creativity.
