Skip Martin is co-founder of RoMa Craft Tobac and co-owner/operator of Nica Sueño in Estelí, where he lives and blends. A 1990s cigar-boom retailer, he ran a Galveston shop until Hurricane Ike destroyed it, then chased a private-label cigar that became CroMagnon with Michael Rosales after Costa Rica trials failed. Martin and Esteban Disla built the factory; Martin and Rosales built the company. That split is the map: RoMa is both men, Nica Sueño is Martin plus Disla.
He is the factory-side half of "Foreign & Domestic" in company lore: Nicaragua production, Austin headquarters. Birthday project Quinquagenario (2022) was a rare off-campus cigar with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo at La Alianza. Map Martin as blender-operator, not a U.S.-only brand face.
