Esteban Disla

Esteban Disla is a Nicaraguan master blender with roughly four decades in tobacco and the co-founder of Domain Cigars. His career arc—from agricultural laborer to blender for nearly thirty outside brands to owning a house of cigars—mirrors the modern Estelí success story. Before Domain, he spent just over ten years at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño, the factory behind RoMa Craft Tobac, and earlier worked at Latin Cigars S.A. (today's STG Estelí), creating blends for CAO, Toraño, Alec Bradley, and dozens of other labels.

When Disla decided to launch his own vertical house of cigars, he chose Daniel Lance as co-founder—the partnership began with a phone call, not a field meeting, despite other offers on Disla's table. Together they built Domain across tobacco farms in Valle Regadío and rolling at Tabacalera Familia Disla S.A. in Estelí, linking agriculture, fermentation (including the family Despanic process developed with Raul Disla), and production under a single brand. Domain's Neutron, Negentropy, and Entropy lines reflect Disla's obsession with tobacco selection, Pilón management, and reproducible quality at scale.
