RoMa Craft Tobac is the boutique house formed in 2012 by Michael Rosales and Skip Martin (the name is Rosales + Martin). They merged Rosales's Costa Rican Imports brokerage with Martin's Galveston Bay / Austin retail world after Hurricane Ike wrecked Martin's Texas shop and pushed him toward making cigars he actually wanted to smoke. Early blends started as unbanded shop exclusives; CroMagnon, the first joint Estelí project, put them on 2011 top-cigar lists and justified a real factory.
Almost the entire catalog is rolled at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño in Estelí, which Martin co-owns with blender Esteban Disla (later of Domain). House lines include CroMagnon, Intemperance, Neanderthal, Aquitaine, Baka, Maestranza, and the CRAFT Maquette limiteds. The model is small-batch on purpose: they would rather keep rollers busy at a sustainable pace than flood retail. Exceptions are rare birthday projects (Skip's Quinquagenario with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo at La Alianza; later partner 50ths at other floors).
On Cigar Nexus, RoMa Craft is a vertical boutique: U.S. brand, own Estelí factory, not a logo shopping spare capacity. Map it with Nica Sueño, Martin, Rosales, and Disla. Caldwell and other clients use the same floor; that does not make RoMa a contract-only house.
