Michael Rosales

Michael Rosales is the "Ro" in RoMa Craft, co-founder with Skip Martin. Before the merger he ran Costa Rican Imports, a tobacco brokerage, and had blended the Adrian's Costa Rica line. He remains Austin-based, running the U.S. commercial side while Martin stays in Estelí at Nica Sueño.

The 2012 combination of their two LLCs is the company origin: not a factory buying a logo, and not a retailer slapping a band on anonymous cigars. Rosales's 2026 50th-birthday Quinquagenario project returns to Costa Rican production culture (Vegas Santiago / Puriscal) that predates the Nicaragua factory. On this map he is the U.S. partner node of a two-country boutique.
