Nick & Jim is a collaboration between Nicholas Syris of LH Premium Cigars and Pittsburgh retailer "Island Jim" Robinson—rolled at Tabacos de Costa Rica. The partners met in Cuba; Syris blended a house cigar for Leaf & Bean that Robinson loved enough to take national. Announced as Lavida Isla ("the island life"), the release shipped as Nick & Jim P.B.E.—pre-band edition—after naming-rights hurdles, keeping the same Ecuadorian habano wrapper, Ecuador binder, and Nicaragua-Peru filler in a 6 x 54 toro.
For the map, Nick & Jim is a distinct collaboration node within LH's Nick line—linking Syris's Costa Rican production thread to Robinson's retail and Honduran factory partnerships (Island Jim, Leaf by Oscar) without collapsing those separate brand stories into one.
