Nicholas Syris is a Greek-American master blender and founder of LH Premium Cigars (Lavida Habana). Born in Neapolis, Kozani, in the Macedonian region of Greece, he grew up in a tobacco-farming family before emigrating to the United States as a child—sorting leaves on summer visits back to Greece and later discovering premium cigars after college. A successful audio-video entrepreneur whose cigar friendships opened doors to Saudi royal clientele, Syris built Lavida Habana private lounges abroad with custom Cuban rolls for lounge clientele, while his non-Cuban LH blends are rolled at Tabacos de Costa Rica.
Core lines—Claro, Colorado, and Maduro—share Ecuadorian wrappers from the same farm over Nicaraguan, Peruvian, Dominican, Honduran, and Brazilian filler. The Nick line includes the fuller-bodied Nikos extension, but Nicolas—a San Andrés-wrapped cigar—is by far his most full-bodied Nick release. Syris met Pittsburgh retailer "Island Jim" Robinson in Cuba, blended a house cigar for Leaf & Bean, and released it nationally as Nick & Jim after Lavida Isla naming hurdles. For the map, Syris anchors a Costa Rican boutique thread—international lounge culture meeting verifiable Central American production at Tabacos de Costa Rica.
