Jas Sum Kral (“I am the king” in Macedonian) is the boutique brand of Riste Ristevski (often styled Riste Buc in earlier trade press), known for unapologetically full Nicaraguan blends and theatrical line names such as Red Knight, La Bomba, Fenix, and Kral. The brand has operated since the mid-2010s as a small, personality-driven house rather than a corporate portfolio play.
On Cigar Nexus, JSK is linked to production at My Father in Estelí—the García family factory that also rolls Tatuaje, Crowned Heads, and retailer brands such as La Aroma de Cuba and San Cristóbal. That places JSK in elite contract company even when the brand’s public voice stays cult and independent. (Like many boutiques, JSK has adjusted factory partners over time; the map captures the My Father relationship documented in our graph.)
Jas Sum Kral is the boutique extreme of the Estelí model: a strong blender identity, limited corporate structure, and reliance on a world-class factory to deliver consistent Nicaraguan power.
