Tabacalera Perdomo (El Monstro, Estelí)

factoryfamilyNicaragua

Tabacalera Perdomo—famously nicknamed "El Monstro"—is the sprawling, vertically integrated headquarters of Perdomo Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua. Nick Perdomo Jr. built one of the most ambitious self-contained cigar operations in the world: tobacco farms, massive fermentation barns, aging rooms, rolling galleries, and packaging—all on a scale that rivals the largest producers in Central America.

Every Perdomo line, from Lot 23 and Champagne to the Reserve 10th Anniversary and 20th Anniversary series, flows through this facility. The factory embodies the Perdomo philosophy of controlling every step from seed to box, resulting in powerful, well-aged Nicaraguan blends with remarkable consistency. El Monstro is both a manufacturing marvel and a symbol of how far family-owned Nicaraguan companies have scaled since the post-embargo renaissance.
