Casa Carrillo is the unified Perez-Carrillo family cigar company—one name, one legacy—evolving from the E.P. Carrillo marque into a single portfolio spanning the Perez-Carrillo, Essence, and INCH series. Master blender Ernesto Perez-Carrillo relaunched the family operation in 2009 after leaving General Cigar / Swedish Match, building alongside his son Ernesto III and daughter Lissette (founder of Kristoff). Corporate headquarters sit at 984 SW 1st Street, Miami, while flagship production flows through Tabacalera La Alianza in Santiago's Zona Franca.
The company's Cuban roots run through Ernesto's father, who founded El Credito in Havana in 1948 and rebuilt in Little Havana after exile; Ernesto Jr. later turned a local Miami blend into the phenomenon that became La Gloria Cubana before selling the factory in 1999. Today's Casa Carrillo lines—including Pledge, Encore, La Historia, Allegiance, Endure, Deep Blue, Essence, and INCH—are rolled at La Alianza using Cuban-style triple-cap finishing, while the factory also contract-manufactures for Gurkha, Casdagli, Crowned Heads, and Caldwell projects. Casa Carrillo anchors the Dominican contract ecosystem as both a heritage blender and a major rolling floor.
